Panic, insecurity and fear ruled the day, runs on banks forced FDR to close the banks leaving Americans unsure of what tomorrow would bring. It is very easy to persuade a nation to accept monumental changes in their way of life when there is a major crisis. One wonders if legitimate work at home jobs can survive in these times.
